This will be WOOD MARKETS’ 11th China Conference and it will have a slightly different focus to previous conferences, given the following topics.

  2. Overview of China Market
  3. Developments in China Supply Chain, Industrial Parks & Imports
  4. Profiles of emerging new suppliers, with a focus on Brazil and Uruguay
  5. Panel Session: Views of Key Importers/Exporters and/or
  6. Outlook – What Does All this Mean?

The conference’s objective is to closely examine a variety of supply sources from key exporting countries in order to profile where China reeds to focus its purchasing strategies within the global supply chain. It is becoming vitally important for Chinese buyers to maintain and keep modifying an overseas purchasing strategy given constantly changing global supply/demand dynamics. Emerging developments in the key supplying countries will be examined to determine the best matches between exporters and end users in China. This will include traditional supplying countries as well as emerging ones.

The conference will feature a cross-section of Chinese and international speakers (Oct 30) followed by 1-Day Tour around the Taicang Port Area Tour (Oct 31). Taicang is located on the outskirts of Shanghai.
